28th December 2004 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 6º Sea Temperature: 11ºC Weather: Sunny Spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Not a bad session, unfortunately the wind had dropped off a little, so I was only just powered up with my 5m on my little wave board. I did manage to get out the back in one gust and then had a really good flat out blast in amongst the rollers, all the way to Borth and back. The struggled to get out the back again so changed up to a bigger board. That was OK for a while but the wind eased just a little bit more and once again it became a little marginal. Did think about going for a kite instead, but I'd ben on the water for a few hours and the light was soon going to be fading. Lots of other were out kiting, but they all seemed to be struggling. |
